Handheld Reader VP5002
The live!D handheld reader VP5002 is the final stage in benefitting from EID-tags. The VP5002 combines reliable reading of EID-tags with animal management information at the spot. Furthermore the VP5002 has USB and bluetooth to communicate with PC or PDA.
The panelreader is an integrated antenna and reader. On the go or in a fixed positions, the VP1850 panelreader is easy to install and easy to use. The auto-tuning VP1850 provides instant information to the user. No extended RFID knowledge required to be able to start working with the panelreader. The panelreader is constructed out of HMPE plastic. This material is 4 times more wear resistant than stainless steel. This makes the VP1850 fit for using with direct animal contact. The VP1850 can be used both for restricted animals and walkthrough. Read numbers are allways stored with timestamp. Due to the large memory there is no need to delete numbers. Optional reading location is stored thanks to the integrated GPS module. The VP1850 can be connected to any PC with network, network router. No need to install any local software. Moreover it can be connected to a range of weighing computers due to the serial RS232 connection. The racereader is developed to read sheep fast and unobstructed. The reader can be connected to any local network due to the network capablitys. Read numbers will be stored, and by pressing the button instantly send to a designated server.
