Race readers

In Scotland marketplaces and abattoirs will have a crucial part as CCP (Critical Control Point) to comply with EU regulation on sheep traceability. On numerous markets Live!D race readers are installed and work daily since spring 2009. These readers are used within the scoteid project. Read numbers are uploaded to the ScotEID server instantly.

After each read batch, the numbers read are uploaded after hitting the button. The Live!D race reader is optimized for reading large flocks unobstructedly. One major goal during the development of the race reader  was it should not slow down the sales process .
