Electronic tags (EID) are used more and more in livestock. Even official track and trace programs choose electronic tags. Do you expect excellent performance from your EID? Decide for Nedap’s new range of Live!D tags. The Live!D tags are developed special for those farms who want to use EID on a daily basis and expect easy and reliable performance.
EID-Tag D25
Thanks to a revolutionary patented use of a special aluminum wire the D25 has an excellent performance and a low weight. This low weight creates an EID-tag that’s perfect for young animals. Once the animal is full grown the performance is still sufficient.
The D25 is the first worldwide EID-tag light enough for a young animal and strong enough for an adult.
The tag is available in multiple colors as management tag and even for official identification programs.

EID-Tag D32
The D32 is optimized for larger animals like dairy and cattle. De reading performance is tuned on these animals. A typical race is 80 cm width. The D32 is the EID-tag to use for those who use EID on a daily basis and need to be able to rely on it.
EID-Bolus
The Live!D bolus is truly unique in reading performance. A bolus is hidden in the rumen. For daily use reliable reading performance is essential. This bolus has a reading performance unknown in boluses so far.
The EID-Bolus is used in cattle, sheep, goats and buffalo’s.

Lock-ring
Live!D ear-tags are fitted with a lock-ring. This lock-ring has a numerous unique properties. The lock-ring provides a quick and clean cut when a applied to the animal with quick cleaning as a result.Due to the lock-ring applying the tags has become a light easy job.Offcourse the lock-ring is strong enough to make sure an unbreakable junction is made.
Technology
All Live!D tags are based on FDX-B technology. All tags are conform ISO 11784/11785
Live!D tags are optimized for reading range and sending performance. Mostly only reading range is checked when purchasing an EID tag.Reading range is important to know for deciding if an EID-tag fits the size of the animal. FDX-B tags are passive tags. This means the energy needed to send an electronic number comes from the reader. Live!D tags are known for sending a powerful signal to the reader. This is essential to be able to use EID-tags in reliable day to day operation.
